The Reyers viaduct will not be renovated but demolished to make way for a city boulevard with more space for the cyclists and the pedestrians.

Brussels Mobility has submitted the planning permit for the demolition of the viaduct and the temporary rehabilitation of the Reyers boulevard. The commune of Schaerbeek will be in charge of organising the public investigation. Eveybody will be able to have a look at the file, formulate remarks or ask to be heard during the Concertation Committee. The public inquiry should take place in January if everything goes according to plan.

Mid-January, the minister Pascal Smet will organise an information session to give explanation about the plans.
